Daily Devotional β Sunday, January 11th
Daily Devotional β Sunday, January 11th
a day of compassion, celebration, and healing
π» 1. Intention β Meeting With Compassion
Today I choose to meet myself and others with compassion.
In my daily sadhana, in the final celebration meeting of the SLAA Anorexia Steps Workshop, in the warmth of my family gathering, and in my classes and practices.
I will carry gentleness, honesty, and love.
I will let compassion guide my words, my actions, and my presence.
π 2. Gratitude β Honoring the Gifts of My Path
I am grateful for all that I have experienced because of my addictive personality:
for the way it led me to seek a higher power,
for the way it opened the door to healing,
for the communities, practices, and wisdom that now hold me.
I give thanks for the strength that has grown from struggle,
and for the grace that continues to unfold in my recovery.
πΊ 3. Blessing β A Prayer for Compassionate Presence
May I continue to share compassion with myself and with all those I meet.
May my family gathering today be filled with love, laughter, and tenderness.
May my monthly class on Right Action deepen my understanding of the Eightfold Path.
May my TYI Yoga for Better Living class weave together the threads of this day with
movement, reflection, and gratitude.
May Mother Nature guide my steps today.
May I be steady, kind, and present:
to myself, to my family, and to the world around me.
