Daily Devotional — Friday, January 16th
a day of love, recovery, and gentle care
🌻 1. Intention — Start with Love
Today I begin with love.
Love for myself, for my recovery, for the practices that ground me.
May each step be guided by compassion and presence.
May I honor the gift of growing older with wisdom and grace.
🍃 2. Morning Practices — Rooting in Devotion
I start with my daily sadhana, centering in meditation, yoga, and mindful awareness.
I join my Recovery Circle weekly meeting, connecting in truth and service.
I strengthen my body with training, honoring resilience.
I attend my DBT class, practicing skills that bring clarity and wise action.
🌼 3. Afternoon Care — Gentle Renewal
I take time for my manicure and pedicure, honoring self‑care as part of healing.
I let this act of tending remind me that gentleness is strength, and rest is devotion.
🌺 4. Evening Integration — Recovery and Reflection
I join the IFS Compulsive Eating meeting, opening space for honesty, compassion, and shared healing.
I close the day with TYI Yoga for Better Living, weaving together movement, breath, and gratitude.
I let my body soften, my spirit settles, and my heart rest in peace.
🌙 Closing Gratitude
I give thanks for all these opportunities —
to grow older with wisdom,
to live with compassion,
to honor recovery and self‑care,
to walk gently with Mother Nature’s guidance.
May I be steady, kind, and present.
May all beings be safe.
May all beings be free.
May all beings know peace.
