Ignatian Examen — Friday, January 16
Ignatian Examen — Friday, January 16
1. Gratitude
I give thanks for the joy and accomplishment I felt today. For the simple pleasures of a healthy chickpea hamburger, the care of the manicurist and pedologist, and the satisfaction of buying props that will support my Pilates practice.
2. Presence
I notice how fully I lived in the moment—enjoying the contract, savoring lunch, and carrying out the plans I set. My body and spirit felt aligned.
3. Review
I see the choices I made: completing what I intended, skipping the IFS meetings, yet showing up for the TYI class. Each decision reflects my priorities and energy for the day.
4. Growth
I recognize that even when I let go of one commitment, I honored another. This balance is part of my growth—learning to discern where my presence is most needed.
5. Hope
I carry forward the joy of accomplishment, the nourishment of healthy food, and the care I received. Tomorrow, I hope to continue honoring my body, my commitments, and my connections with gratitude and courage.
