Daily Devotional — Monday, January 5th
a full morning, a steady heart, a mindful day
🌻 1. Intention — A Devoted, Present Morning
Today I welcome a full and beautiful morning.
I begin with mind and body:
- meditation
- yoga practice
- yoga sadhana
- strength training
I move with presence, breath, and softness.
Then I nourish myself with care — calling my OA HOW sponsor, preparing my vegan breakfast, cooking, and meal‑prepping for the week.
I honor my body with food that supports my freedom, and I honor my spirit with structure and devotion.
🍃 2. Gratitude — Honoring the Flow of My Day
I am grateful for the rhythm of this day:
for the practices that ground me,
the food that nourishes me,
the communities that support me,
and the clarity that comes from tending my life with intention.
I give thanks for the ability to move, to breathe, to cook, to plan, to show up.
🌺 3. Blessing — A Prayer for Steadiness & Service
May I move through this afternoon with calm and clarity:
doing my finances,
attending my IFS Peers meeting,
and showing up with love and service in my Secular OA HOW meeting.
And tonight, may I soften into the TYI Yoga for Better Living class,
letting my body unwind and my spirit settle.
May Mother Nature guide my steps today.
May I be present, steady, and kind
to myself, and to everyone I meet.
