Night Examen — January 1st

💖 Night Examen — January 1st

soft, tender, sparkly, grounded

1. Gratitude, A Pink‑Glow Thank You

Tonight I place my hand over my heart and whisper a gentle thank you.

I’m grateful for my two hours of meditation, the way it wrapped my morning in calm.

I’m grateful I began my three 31‑day challenges — Yoga with Adrienne, Insight Timer’s Resolution, and Veganuary 2026, each one like a little love note to my future self.

I’m grateful for my SLAA meeting, my call with my SOA HOW sponsor, and the communities that hold me with such warmth.

I’m grateful for the tender moment of honoring my mother by watching the Rose Parade, a soft ribbon of memory tying us together.

I’m grateful for every meeting I attended today, each one adding a petal to my healing.

And I’m grateful that I followed my food plan with honesty and care.

2. Ask for Light, A Soft Glow of Clarity

I invite a gentle, rosy light to shine over my day.

Not harsh, not judging, just soft, like moonlight on pink silk.

I ask for clarity that feels kind, feminine, and true.

3. Review, Walking Back Through My Day Like a Garden Path

I stroll back through the hours of this day, step by step:

- My early‑morning meditation

- Beginning my three beautiful challenges

- My SLAA meeting

- My sponsor call

- Honoring my mother with the Rose Parade

- My recovery meetings, We Agnostics, SOA IFS Peers, RDO Noble Inquiry

- Following my food plan with grace

I notice the sweetness, the effort, the devotion, the softness.

4. Reflection, Where I Blossomed Today

I ask myself gently:

Where did I move toward healing, truth, or authenticity?

Where did I feel grounded, supported, or aligned?

Where did I offer kindness, to myself or others?

Where did I feel Mother Nature’s quiet guidance, in breath, in stillness, in movement?

I hold all of it like delicate petals in my hands.

5. Renewal, Curling Into Rest

As the night deepens, I let go of what is heavy.

I keep what is true.

I let myself soften into rest.

May Mother Nature cradle me tonight like a warm blanket.

May I wake renewed, glowing, and ready for the next step in my healing.

May all beings be safe.

May all beings be free.

May all beings know peace.
