January 2nd Ignatian Examen

๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ’– Ignatian Night Examen

1. Gratitude โ€” Soft Thanks for a Full Day
Tonight I begin by placing a gentle hand over my heart and giving thanks.
I am grateful for my busy morning, tending to home chores and showing up for my Recovery Circle meeting.
Iโ€™m grateful for the curiosity and devotion that led me to spend the afternoon researching mindfulness meditation for compulsive overeating โ€” a loving act of learning for my healing.
Iโ€™m grateful for the two IFS meetings that held my evening, offering insight, compassion, and inner spaciousness.
I give thanks for the strength that carried me through each moment.

2. Ask for Light โ€” A Soft Glow of Clarity
I invite a gentle, moonlit clarity to shine over my day.
Not to judge it, but to understand it.
I ask for insight that feels kind, feminine, and true โ€” like soft light resting on still water.

---

3. Review โ€” Walking Back Through My Day
I walk slowly through the hours of this day:
- A morning filled with movement, chores, and my Recovery Circle
- An afternoon of thoughtful research into mindfulness and compulsive overeating
- An evening held by two IFS meetings, each one offering a different doorway inward

I notice the rhythm โ€” effort, learning, connection, and reflection.

---

4. Reflection โ€” Where I Moved Toward Healing
I ask myself softly:
Where did I move toward truth, recovery, or authenticity today?
Where did I feel grounded, supported, or aligned?
Where did I offer kindness to myself or others?
Where did I feel Mother Natureโ€™s quiet guidance โ€” in breath, in movement, in presence?

I hold all of it with tenderness, like petals gathered in my hands.

---

5. Renewal โ€” Curling Into Rest
As the night deepens, I release what is heavy.
I keep what is true.
I let myself soften into rest.

May Mother Nature cradle me tonight with warmth and gentleness.
May I wake renewed, steady, and open to the next step in my healing.

May all beings be safe.
May all beings be free.
May all beings know peace.
